$200K+ Oh SNAP Food Security Rapid Response Fed Thousands

Last fall, we faced a potentially devastating loss of federal food assistance in our communities, our state and our nation. When SNAP benefits evaporated almost overnight, United Way of Kaw Valley and LiveWell Shawnee County used lessons about capacity, partnership and communication learned during and after the pandemic to rapidly rally partners to keep our neighbors fed.
