Only Two Weeks Left to Close the Gap!

Summer's is here, and no doubt your thoughts have turned to family vacations, outdoor fun and spending time with friends. But too many people in our community will spend their summer worrying how to feed their children when school is out, or how to keep an elderly neighbor safe from soaring summer temperatures, or how to make sure a son or daughter doesn't lose hard-fought academic progress before August arrives.

You can make sure that programs remain in place to help our neighbors in need by donating now to United Way of Greater Topeka's Close the Gap campaign. If you haven't given, now is the perfect time. If you have given, thank you! Every dollar counts as our fiscal year comes to a close on June 30. If we can't close the remaining gap of more than $200,000 by then, families risk losing access to vital services.
