Christmas Bureau Update

Thanks to all who have helped get the 2019 Christmas Bureau of to a quick start in Shawnee County. Seven days of on-site application intake resulted in the approval of 1,631 households. Individuals, groups and organizations have so far adopted more than 1,300 of these households! Help us make this an amazing Christmas for the remaining 300+ families! 

You can help today by volunteering to adopt a family, which entails buying gifts and a holiday meal. You will receive information on the members of the household you adopt. After contacting them to clarify any questions and to arrange a delivery date, all that's left if shopping and wrapping! 

If adopting is not in your budget this year (we recommend about $70 for an individual's food and gifts), please consider a monetary donation. Even though we strive to get everyone matched, there are always complications that prevent an adoption from actually happening. Your donations help us take care of those unusual and often unavoidable situations.
