Volunteerism is woven into the fabric of our community and of United Way of Greater Topeka. It brings strength, color and texture to everything we do. When you and those around you serve, your impact goes beyond the agencies and individuals in our community and makes Greater Topeka a better place for us all. It’s time to celebrate our volunteers loudly with our new Ad Astra Honors initiative. Ad Astra Honors will recognize community members who continually go above and beyond the call to support our neighbors in need. To be considered for this award.
- Create or support a program that provides long-lasting impact in one of the counties served by United Way of Greater Topeka (Jackson, Jefferson or Shawnee).
- Complete more than 25 verified hours of service in one of the impact areas below:

- Health
- Financial Stability
- Basic Needs

- Live, work or learn in one of the counties served by United Way of Greater Topeka.
