Welcome

Don't pass up a charitable giving deduction

With the end of the year approaching, we wanted to share a reminder that changes in tax law this year made it possible for more donors to take advantage of charitable deductions!

If you are a non-itemizer (like most of us), you typically would have to meet a higher threshold in order to claim your donations as deductions. However, this year the CARES Act allows individuals who do not itemize to claim a deduction for up to $300 in donations made by December 31 of this year.

If you would like to invest in the education, financial stability, and health of our community with your year-end gift, you can give at: http://bit.ly/GiveTopeka.

We' are about halfway through the campaign this year, and our community has committed $804,732.52 As we start to build back from this pandemic, your support will mean more than ever to the success of our work in education, financial stability and health. To see our current goal and progress, go to https://unitedwaytopeka.org/YourImpact.

It not too late for your organization to run a workplace campaign. Contact Marty Hillard if you'd like to learn more about running a campaign.
