Join UWGT in Supporting Medicaid Expansion in Kansas

UWGT joined other local United Ways last week in advocating and educating our social media followers about the benefits of Medicaid expansion in Kansas.

In Kansas, we're leaving an estimated $7.3 billion on the table over a decade by not expanding Medicaid coverage to vulnerable Kansans, including many essential workers. Learn more: http://bit.ly/KSMedicaidFacts

At the state level, we call on the Kansas legislature to join the other 38 states that have expanded their Medicaid coverage. Estimates show that another 165,000 Kansans could gain health care coverage through Medicaid expansion. Read more here: http://bit.ly/37f6wfC

According to Alliance for a Healthy Kansas, about 7,400 veterans and their spouses would also gain access to quality, affordable health care coverage with KanCare expansion.
