A BIG Thank You!
On September 17, Heartland Healthy Neighborhoods (HHN) Active Environment Work Group wrapped up the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Survey. HHN received funding from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) to combine community-wide evidence-based solutions and promising practices to improve active living by enhancing sidewalk connectivity within Shawnee County. During a four-week promotional effort, HHN received over 800 survey responses! The Active Environment Work Group will analyze the data from the survey and determine where to utilize the BCBSKS Funding to enhance sidewalks for walkers and bicyclists.
Heartland Healthy Neighborhoods would like to give a BIG thank you to everyone that shared our social media posts and took our survey!
