Christmas Bureau Is Coming!
Forms and information for the 2021 Christmas Bureau will be available soon on our website. Christmas Bureau is a partnership among several local nonprofits, including United Way, Community Resource Council, Topeka Rescue Mission, Salvation Army and Doorstep. Individuals and families can apply to receive help with holiday gifts and food. Anyone interested in receiving help this year must provide income documentation and present the required forms in person at one of three application sites.
Intake will be done in person on the following dates and at three locations:
From 10 am to 7 pm at all locations
- Tuesday, October 26
- Thursday, October 28
- Wednesday, November 3
- Friday, November 5 (last day for Echo Ridge and Salvation Army sites)
From 10 am to 2 pm at the Lundgren Elementary site ONLY
- Saturday, November 6
Echo Ridge 2021 SE Market (21st and California area)
Lungren Elementary, 1020 NE Forest Ave.
Salvation Army, 1320 SE 6th Ave.
Volunteer opportunities will be available soon on TopekaVolunteers.org for
- application/intake help (in-person)
- data entry (can be done on-site or remote)
- IT support for our client matching program (remote)
