Our corporate community continues to inspire us with their commitment to running workplace campaigns, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. While most companies ran virtual campaigns last year, this year we have seen everything from in-person to hybrid and fully virtual campaigns. The good news is that we support the format that works best for your employees!
Companies continue to impress us with their creativity–from Pumpkin Chunkin’ at Security Benefit (photo) to virtual volunteer opportunities at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas to a virtual campaign kick-off for Hill’s Pet Nutrition employees streamed live from our partners at the YWCA (see our Social Shout Out in this issue)!
As a reminder, you can find campaign resources for your virtual or in-person campaigns at https://unitedwaytopeka.org/virtualtoolkit/.
Big and small companies are leveraging their newfound Zoom expertise to host virtual campaign meetings and special events. And getting together for a golf tournament has been an even better option than usual when outside is one of the best ways to gather. Thanks to all the companies battling through the pandemic and continuing to support impactful work in education, financial stability and health.
