Results of the 2021-2022 Campaign
At last month's “Celebrate United” Campaign Celebration and Awards, we got to announce that you raised an incredible $1,981,218.13 during our 2021-2022 campaign (which officially ended June 30)! That is a truly remarkable investment in our community, representing an increase of 7%, or $123,000, from last year. We are grateful that even in the most difficult of times, you not only met but exceeded your generosity from last year.
To put that amount in perspective, those dollars could:
- Allow agencies to provide 100,000 meals in our community, including meals for seniors who not only get access to a healthy meal, but also receive a valuable safety and wellness check
- Ensure that 1,000 individuals have access to the resources they need to be financially stable, including financial literacy experiences for students and financial counseling for adults
- Provide 245 students access to after-school tutoring and other resources to stay on track in reading and math
At the event we also presented five awards to companies and individuals who went above and beyond for this year’s campaign:
