Healthy Eating and Farmers' Markets #BCBSKSPathways

Pathways-BCBSKS Logo

Part of Heartland Healthy Neighborhood’s work with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas focuses on supporting farmers’ markets. Shawnee County farmers’ markets provide locally grown produce to the community during the growing season and retail opportunities to local producers. Markets accepting EBT and other food benefits offer access to fresh, local and healthy food to those at every income level.

HHN is working with several markets around the community to offer support so your favorite market stop can become an even stronger asset to Shawnee County. #BCBSKSPathways

Pro Tip: Turn your visit to the Library into a trip to the Farmers' Market with Monday Market at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library!

Here's a list of more farmers' markets in and around Topeka and Shawnee County: https://www.localharvest.org/topeka-ks/farmers-markets.
