Merger Update

merger square

Merger work continued this month after we officially filed our paperwork with the Kansas Secretary of State's office. The Finance Department is doing the heavy lifting right now, making sure everyone is set up with payroll and benefits. We've had our first committee meetings with representation from Douglas County, and our October board meeting will be the first with our new members representing Douglas County. We've updated the board list online, and it now shows you which county each board member represents. A board retreat is being planned for early 2023.

Our board members from Douglas County are:

  • Mina Bischmann, Langston Hughes Elementary
  • Kate Campbell, community volunteer
  • Peggy Johnson, community volunteer
  • David Jordan, United Methodist Health Ministry Fund
  • Beth Llewellyn, Relationships & Strategy Consultant
  • Krystal Loomis, community volunteer
  • Brooklynne Mosley, GPS Impact
  • Ward Slocum, Black Hills Energy
