Your investment strengthens our work in volunteer engagement, including our TopekaVolunteers.org website – a centralized database of volunteer opportunities throughout Shawnee County. It allows us to provide strategic leadership in the area of volunteer management, to make sure organizations throughout our community are utilizing volunteers in the most strategic and efficient way possible. Your investment made it possible for us to receive our Service Enterprise designation- putting us among an elite group of nonprofits in the country who have a special commitment to increasing nonprofit capacity through volunteer engagement.
Your community impact investment also makes it possible for us to convene partnerships that lead to bigger impact. Whether it’s bringing together more than 30 partners on our weekly nonprofit collaboration calls, or leading the Shawnee County Campaign for Grade Level Reading, your dollars allow us to bring partners together to tackle some of our community’s biggest challenges.
