Watch for Our New Branding in January

merger info square

Share a merger milestone with us on Wednesday, January 4, 2023! We'll be live on Facebook as we officially launch our new identity as United Way of Kaw Valley.

We’re excited for this next step as our two organizations officially come under one name and one identity. Fully uniting our operations furthers our broader objective of creating a regional organization that can have an even bigger impact on the communities we serve. Staff in Shawnee and Douglas counties have been working hard on the complex process of merging two organizations. We are learning from each other and have already started to identify opportunities to use our shared resources strategically and more efficiently.

Some of what you will see in 2023:

  • Our new logo
  • Consolidation and some changes to social media channels
  • The beginnings of a consolidated web presence. For the time being, you will still be able to find all of our information at both the Douglas County and Greater Topeka web addresses.

While we will be changing the name and logo, you will probably still see Topeka and Douglas County branding until we have had a chance to update all of our online and printed materials. Thanks in advance for your patience and your help in making United Way of Kaw Valley a new household name across Kansas.

So come celebrate with us January 4 on Facebook! And bring a friend!
