Topeka Volunteers Event Draws 300+

What a great time we had at Fairlawn Plaza for our second in-person Topeka Volunteers event! The goal of this event is to give our community members access to many different nonprofits and volunteer opportunities all in one place—just like TopekaVolunteers.org, but with real people!
We had 100 partner agency representatives on hand from 48 organizations engaging with potential volunteers and networking with one another. They got to speak with 300 participants, up significantly from last year's total. In addition to individual attendees, we had groups from schools and business take advantage of this great opportunity. We're still processing all the great feedback and will use it to make next year's event bigger and better!
