Youth Summer Service Options in Douglas County
The Douglas County Youth Service Coalition is now recruiting for its summer program! Join us for a kickoff event from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on June 7!
The Youth Service Coalition is for current Douglas County middle or high school students who are interested in community service. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the community and build leadership and learning skills. We'll even help you plan your own service projects.

- Volunteering
- Peer Mentoring Elementary Kids
- Learn about Community Resources
- Plan Service Projects
Regular Summer meetings are on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2-4pm at the United Way office, 1127 Iowa St. in Lawrence. New members are always welcome! For questions, contact Hannah Davis at hdavis@uwkawvalley.org.
