Need to Make an End-of-Year Gift?

Newsletter Year End Header.png

What better way to end the year then an investment in building strong, healthy and equitable communities?

It’s been an exciting year, filled with transition and progress:

  • Nearly 1,000 volunteers came out on Nancy Perry Day of Caring in Shawnee County to donate their time in service of dozens of organizations.
  • A full slate of AmeriCorps members are serving at locations throughout Douglas County where they are helping agencies build their capacity.
  • Through our support of Jackson County’s Thoughtful Day of Giving, students from Jackson County have the ability to attend Washburn Tech while the cost of their supplies are covered.

As the year draws to a close, we invite you to join your friends and neighbors by making an investment in the work of United Way. Your tax-deductible donation before December 31st will not only contribute to our ongoing initiatives but will also allow you to take advantage of potential tax benefits. You can make your gift at UWKawValley.org/Give.
