It's Campaign Halftime!
Our annual campaign kicked off on July 1, 2023 and we’re proud to announce that we’ve reached the halfway point! Because of you, we are halfway toward our campaign goals in Shawnee and Douglas Counties!
You’ve invested just over $1 million so far toward our $2 million dollar goal in Shawnee County, and just over $300,000 toward our $600,000 goal in Douglas County. What does that mean for our communities?
- In Shawnee County, 2,585 children and families will have access to resources to help them succeed in school, prepare for success in the workforce, and become financially stable.
- In Douglas County, 10,500 meals can be served to families at a time when food insecurity continues to remain at unprecedented levels
Across our entire service area, you are driving our work in strategic volunteer engagement. So far this year, there have been 656 responses to volunteers opportunities on our TopekaVolunteers.org and VolunteerDouglas.org websites. That amounts to an economic impact of $38,412.01!

This year’s campaign does not end until June 30th! There are still plenty of ways to be involved:
