For the first time ever, Nancy Perry Day of Caring spanned two days, September 19 and 20. In all 1,047 volunteers registered and completed 4,188 hours of capacity-building service across Shawnee County, even expanding into Douglas and Jefferson counties. A sunny day meant ZERO cancelled projects!

  • 62 projects filled
  • 30 agencies benefitted from this labor boost
  • 23 companies and organizations brought volunteers
  • Your economic impact for the day? $140,088.60 (At the Independent Sector volunteer value rate of $33.45/hour)

That is 1 month of work for 25 full-time employees, benefitting agencies, families and individuals in need across our service area. Thank you!

If you participated, please take a little time to complete the Nancy Perry Day of Caring Survey to help us make next year even better! Survey Link – https://forms.office.com/r/8WVMXxcCT4

Thank you again to all the sponsors who make this day even more special with their support!
