On March 11, we were pleased to welcome our Douglas County leadership donors to our winter social, hosted by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
At this social, donors had the chance to connect with fellow donors, as well as United Way partner agencies. Donors also had the opportunity to learn more about our work in strategic volunteer engagement. In Douglas County, this includes professional development opportunities like the MLK Day of Service. This also includes allowing Douglas County companies with headquarters in Shawnee County to participate in Nancy Perry Day of Caring. We also operate KawValleyVolunteers.org (formerly known as the Roger Hill Volunteer Center) to connect Douglas County residents to volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
Thank you to the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America for hosting, and to BOK Financial for being a continuing sponsor of our leadership donor socials.
