Thank you to everyone who attended our Shawnee County Volunteer Expo last week, especially those of you who took the time to visit enough tables to be entered in our prize drawings! UWKV coordinates the Shawnee County Volunteer Expo each spring to help connect more community volunteers with local nonprofit agencies. Events like this, along with the volunteer management and communication tools we provide through KawValleyVolunteers.org, help agencies expand their capacity to serve their clients and customers more effectively with the help of volunteers. This was the fourth year of our in-person event. The event was slated to premier in 2020 and was cancelled at the start of the Covid pandemic. The second year featured a virtual volunteer fair. We look forward to celebrating our fifth anniversary in 2026!
