Hangout at the Hangar Set for September 9
Tickets will go on sale soon for our 2nd Annual Hangout at the Hangar on the evening of Tuesday, September 9 from 4:30 – 7 pm at the Lawrence airport!
This event kicks off our 2025-2026 annual campaign in Douglas County, and serves as our first official fundraiser of the campaign.
Guests will enjoy delicious food from Maceli’s, view static aircraft displays (including an incredibly preserved DC-3, courtesy of Vaerus Aviation), and have the chance to be among the first to make your gift to the Douglas County campaign.
You’ll also have the chance to meet our new Douglas County Campaign Chair, who will be introduced during the event.
You might have also seen that some big updates are coming to the Lawrence Airport- this is your chance to see the airport firsthand!
