That includes...
$1,490,014 in Shawnee/Jefferson Counties. That's enough to:
- Improve the quality of life for 400 people experiencing homelessness, unemployment, or underemployment by equipping them with job-seeking skills, workplace competencies, and financial literacy tools for long-term stability.
$516,392.34 in Douglas County. That's enough to:
- Provide 13,000 nutritious meals to families facing the reality of food insecurity as prices soar, and helping kids focus on their schoolwork and not their hunger.
$22,089.56 in Jackson County. That's enough to:
- Provide prescription assistance to over 50 individuals who no longer have to choose between keeping the lights on and filling their vital prescriptions.
