As we kick off our Annual Campaign across Shawnee and Douglas Counties this fall, we are excited to share this year’s campaign goals! Because while the amout raised is important, it's the impact of those dollars that means the most. These are just a few examples of how your contribution, combined with thousands of others, can build healthy and resilient communities where we live and work.
Shawnee County Campaign Goal: $1.4 Million
What You Make Possible with $1.4 Million:
- 1,795 students receive access to a financial simulation teaching them real-life financial lessons
- 12,000 meals distributed at a time when food insecurity continues to rise
- 1,000+ individuals connected to volunteer opportunities through KawValleyVolunteers.org
- Collaborations that allow us to bring organizations together to build thriving communities
Douglas County Campaign Goal: $600,000
What You Make Possible with $600,000:
- 60 families receive access to high-quality preschool for their children
- 13,420 meals are distributed throughout Douglas County
- Hundreds of individuals can attend the Lawrence, KS Juneteenth Celebration
- Nonprofit partners can come together for professional development training to enhance the services they provide
