Halloween Tradition Continues at Pine Ridge
Our Young Leaders Society teamed up with Forge Young Talent in Topeka on October 28 for their Trick-or-Treat on the Trail at Pine Ridge. This annual event allows families in the Pine Ridge public housing neighborhood to receive candy, books, food, and other fun treats to celebrate Halloween. Items are distributed along the Born Learning Trail at Pine Ridge – a fun, interactive trail featuring learning stations for parents and kids. The Pine Ridge Born Learning Trail was the first of its kind in Topeka and was a project of the Young Leaders Society more than a decade ago.
