2025 Christmas Bureau Final Stats and Stories
We put Christmas Bureau 2025 to bed in February. Thank you to the volunteers, nonprofit partners, website programmers, donors and adopters who made this a relatively smooth season in a challenging landscape (we did not bank on having to help re-imagine our food assistance distribution networks right in the middle of Christmas Bureau time!).

We encourage you to continue supporting your community year round as enthusiastically as you do during the holidays. United is the way to build community every day. Here's how you can continue to make a difference:
- Make a recurring gift to United Way of Kaw Valley. Workplace campaigns are an easy way to spread your gift across a year of paychecks. No campaign? No problem. Make a recurring gift using your bank account or credit card.
- Volunteer. Register for a free account at KawValleyVolunteers.org and build community through service. Plus, you'll be one of the first to know when Christmas Bureau volunteer opportunites are posted for 2026!
- Connect. Talk to your neighbors. Talk to your coworkers. Talk to your kids' teachers. It's free, it's simple, and it builds community.
- Learn and advocate for the world you want to see. Use your voice in public comment, community forums and editorial arenas. Let your elected officials know that you pay attention to what they support and offer them your opinion and information to enhance their decision making.
