By helping people figure out what services/help they need first, Community Resource Navigators can help people prepare to meet with service providers and make sure necessary documents are available and forms are as complete as possible BEFORE meeting with an agency. This saves agency staff time and creates what we often refer to as a "warm handoff." Ultimately, our goal is to reduce burden on the person in need and increase the capacity of agencies to get needed services in place as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Here are the spots in Douglas and Shawnee counties where you can find our navigators in June.
