It's back! The Douglas County Back2School Supply Drive runs July 1-31 across Douglas County! Local businesses and organizations will be hosting donation boxes to receive school supplies. The Douglas County Back2School Drive is a collaborative effort between United Way of Kaw Valley, Lawrence Public Schools & Foundation, Eudora Public Schools & Foundation, Baldwin City Public Schools & Education Foundation, ECKAN, and The Salvation Army of Douglas County.
This collaboration gathers and organizes resources to help low-income students obtain required supplies for the 2026-27 school year. With your help, we provide Douglas County children with the tools to succeed from the first day of school and beyond.
This year’s goal is to provide a complete supply kit for every Douglas County youth in need, as well as excess to teachers for their classroom closets to replace and refresh throughout the year.We can't do that without you!
