Board Leadership Training Returns Feb. 18 & 25

Have you ever wondered what it takes to join a nonprofit Board of Directors? Maybe you’ve considered board service but just didn’t know where to start. United Way’s Board Leadership Training has the answers and support you are looking for. Our introduction to board leadership breaks it down into understandable pieces, gives you the opportunity to test your skills and brings in local experts to take the mystery out of becoming a board member. 

Board Leadership (9 hours) - Cost: $75 
Wednesday, February 18 and 25 
8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
Washburn University (in the Memorial Union)

Registration is first-come/first-served

• You must attend both days to complete the course. Please do not register if you cannot commit to both sessions.
• Your registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email and complete the additional registration steps if needed, which include payment options. You must provide the requested information within 48 hours of the send time on the email or risk losing your seat in the class.
