Increasing the financial stability of families creates a stronger, more productive workforce and a more prosperous community with more employment and home ownership. Individuals who have fewer financial stresses are healthier, perform better at work and have children more likely to graduate school on time.
We’re working to help individuals and families secure professional financial counseling and pair them with volunteer mentors to help them develop and follow plans to pay down debt and begin saving money. United Way of Greater Topeka partners with Housing and Credit Counseling Inc. to provide the HOPE Program. Arianne Gross is a successful HOPE client who shares her story to help others.
